With the welcome mat properly positioned, Cassius Clay anticipates what's to come as he opens his magnificent warm brown greatness and spreads joy to the world - with a dirty jockstrap hanging on the wall!
In this 1964 photo, 22 year-old Cassius Clay takes a break during training sessions for his fight with the formidable, much feared, 32 year-old Sonny Liston. They call him "one of the greatest" boxers of all time, but even before he became Muhammed Ali, Cassisus Clay told us he was THE GREATEST! He never had a problem with telling us how pretty he was, and how could we NOT believe him on both counts?
But for some reason, Clay didn't tell us how pretty his legs were! I don't know why because he certainly wasn't shy. Cassius Clay wore many titles, and had lived his life in the public eye since he was a teenager, but after stealing the title of Heavyweight Champion of the World in the controversial, now legendary fight with Liston, he changed his name to Muhammed Ali, and truly lived up to the new title by becoming a world-class, international, universal ICON!
Muhammed Ali gave us the "fight of the century" with Joe Frazier, he knew how to "rumble in the jungle" with George Foreman, and he would thrill us in Manilla, too! He made household names out of Leon Spinks, and Larry Holmes, and forced Ken Norton to become a Mandingo in the movies, and after a boxing record that consisted of 61 total fights, 56 wins - 37 by KO, with no draws, no contests, and only 5 losses, Muhammed Ali officially retired in 1981.
Apparently, Ali was immortalized in wax for Madame Tussuad's. Looks like he could use a pair of boxing gloves.....and where's that dirty jockstrap when it's needed?
totally hot...

Corey, I am a fight fan. I was at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx when Ali fought Ken Norton...Sept. 28, 1976. What a fight! There we were, sharing a bottle of vodka and watching a close fight. Ali won, but Spinks and I both agreed that Ken was really the better fighter that night.
Oh, I was not sharing the bottle with Spinks. LOL
