Identity, is the one singular entity that still, black men struggle with in thier spirit. The Obama experience was like a "well damn", moment for all male blacks full of male abstracted definitions of themselves. Blacker than thou, who? You? Me?

A black man is, or is not, the lot of who we've been for the past 15, 20years, or more. ....then Obama happened. And we were not prepared for the redefing of oursevels in such a beautifully righteous way. Obama speaks to effort, truth and discipline, focus, tenacity.

The verbrage food group that only the firecely identfied of self can speak and live in with out conflict, or dissraction, or contridiction. Bottom line, who amongst the thick soot of the 21st century, black male swagger, and crippling alligence to all things "hood", can find there way to their own personal truth, to make truth living the norm, and not the Obama-extrodinary.
